Fried plantains are usually eaten with red red, a spicy bean stew, or sold as a snack on the street. It’s a quick tasty dish, and easy to prepare.
½ cup of normal oil
1 teaspoon of salt
How to prepare it:
Peel the plantains and cut into small cubes. Soak the cubes in water, add the salt and leave them for a few minutes. In the meantime heat the oil. When hot, fry the plantains in the oil until they become brown and crusty. Serve hot.
